Former ONWARD Guitarist Signs Deal For WAXEN Black Metal Project

Former DARKEN/ONWARD guitarist Toby Knapp has signed a deal with Metalbolic Records for the release of the debut album from his WAXEN black metal project (formerly known as UNIT 100). The CD, entitled "Fumaroth", will consist of recordings that were completed for WAXEN's 2004 demo and include the track "I Claim Your Throne", which can currently be sampled on Metalbolic's MySpace.com page. A late 2006 release is expected.

Knapp last year issued an instrumental album, entitled "Polarizing Lines".
